Violence in the Workplace – It can happen anywhere. Are you prepared?


Violence is becoming an all to familiar occurrence in the workplace and the senior care industry is no exception. In hospitals, nursing homes and home care settings violent encounters can come from clients, family members, intruders and even coworkers. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics reports that healthcare workers are at four times greater risk for workplace violence than workers in private industry on average*.

About the Presenter:

Josef Levy, President of Embassy Consulting Services, is a retired Police Commander with the Long Beach Police Department and has over 30 years of experience designing and delivering security training programs. Commander Levy has conducted workshops for thousands of law enforcement and educational professionals throughout the country.
