Her “Journey Back to Joy” programs are usually about 1 hour and are progressive for 8 weeks. Joann also speaks about grief to many organizations. Working with the assisted living communities, their caregivers and staff, she provides comfort and support during transition. As a Certified Grief Coach, she helps anyone with any type of loss, a pet, a job, a life style change and loss of a loved one.

Joann MichalikSharon Brothers, MSW brings her years of experience in senior care services to her passion as the founder and CEO of the Institute for Professional Care Education®. Sharon has an advanced degree in social work and leadership experience in multi-state assisted living corporations. She has been a developer, owner and operator of dementia care assisted living communities and has deep expertise as an educator for all levels of staff within the care profession.
