Please join Sharon Brothers and Kevin Lambing and their special guest, Dennis Rugg, Executive Director of the Cascade Region of the American Red Cross to discuss what you need to know to be prepared for an emergency or natural disaster in your area.

  • How to plan in such a way that you – and your team – know exactly what to do in case of an emergency
  • Critical considerations for the most common emergencies that the Red Cross sees in its work
  • How to meet the special needs of elders, persons with dementia and other individuals with unique situations or needs

Dennis Rugg Webinar PresenterDennis Rugg is the executive director of the American Red Cross Southwest Washington Chapter. Dennis oversees the day-to-day chapter business, volunteer engagement, community partnerships and fundraising in Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania and Klickitat counties. As a member of the board of directors for the Southwest Washington Chapter for nine years, he has participated in many aspects of the organization’s service delivery including disaster response, volunteer support, sponsor cultivation and donor stewardship.
