About the Presenters:

Sharon Brothers, MSW brings her years of experience in senior care services to her passion as the founder and CEO of the Institute for Professional Care Education®. Sharon has an advanced degree in social work and leadership experience in multi-state assisted living corporations. She has been a developer, owner and operator of dementia care assisted living communities and has deep expertise as an educator for all levels of staff within the care profession.


For the past 7 years, Bobbi Emanuel has owned and operated 3 Senior Helpers territories encompassing 15 counties in Central and South Central Pennsylvania. Prior to Senior Helpers, She was VP of HR for a local, 8 store, Papa John’s Pizza franchise. Bobbi’s career has always been people oriented focusing Recruitment, Training, and Retention and Strategic People Management.


Sarah Lane has a B.A. and Master’s Degree in Communications, both from the University of Washington. She spent more than a decade in government service, where she won multiple awards for her work with government websites and social media. When looking to start a business of her own, she recalled her rewarding days at a non-profit program that helped low-income seniors remain living at home. Sarah Lane, and her husband Greg, are the owners of FirstLight Home Care – South Sound in Olympia, WA. They have been in business for 14 months and employ 25 caregivers.
